Virtual Gibbs Programmer and CNC operator (swing shift)

Description:

• Previous experience with Gibbs Cam a plus. Must be able to import and program from a solid model. Also update (uprev) previously written programs.
• Work from detailed set-up sheets for the Haas Mills
• Set-up and run machines as needed
• Assist with the training efforts of shop personnel with respect to proper use and operation of CNC equipment
• Program, setup and run a CNC Haas lathe a plus
• Manage expendable tooling inventory
• Maintain clean and orderly work area

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Necessary to Successfully Perform this Position:

• 5+ years as a CNC programmer using CAM software. Understands G codes
• Ability to perform light program editing and tool offsets using Haas controls
• Ability to read/ interpret blueprints and tool designs
• Ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills

Prior Experience Desired:

• 5+ years experience in machine shop industrial environment
• 1+ years set up and operation of CNC lathes
• Basic computer skills

CNC Mill/Lathe Operator (swing shift)

Description:

• Performs set up and efficient operation of CNC Haas milling machines
• Loads, and validates part programs for optimal production
• Performs First Article inspection
• Inspects and measures machined parts with general measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and other gages
• Other duties such as deburring and some cleaning

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Necessary to Successfully Perform this Position:

• Ability to perform light program editing and tool offsets using Haas controls
• Ability to read/ interpret blueprints

Prior Experience Desired:

• 3+ years experience in machine shop industrial environment
• Haas control programming and editing a plus
• On time and reliable
